Flings : Before the 4th Term

R E A D I N G

I've started reading storybooks since I can read properly. It can be say that until now there are lot of storybooks that I've read. But from all of those books I've read, I think none of them can beat the Harry Potter series.
If it's not mistaken, I remember the first time I read the first novel is when I was in the second grade of elementary school. I didn't fully understand what I read that time, but all I know that this is the greatest novel I've ever read. [Of course it's because I just learnt how to read properly back then, so there weren't many books I've already read lol. But it's true that this novel series are the best]. I've always been the fans of this series ever since.
I re-read the series through the online book site since I don't have all the books. Tbh, I haven't read the last two books and currently I'm stuck in the fifth book.

W A T C H I N G
As a huge fans of Kdrama Reply Series, I can't resist not to watch the third drama of this series. The third drama is now taken back to the life in Korea around 1988. Honestly, I don't really expect anything from this one, because as the drama set getting old, I think it will be more boring in some ways. But like I always be in making a prediction, I was wrong. This drama was really good, even though some characters were irritated me in the earlier episode. I love how the story it goes and the casts were pretty fine playing their characters. Esp, Dukseon which doesn't have acting experience before (correct me if I'm wrong). The way this drama telling not only about first love, but also more about strong friendship, the boundaries in family, and the relation that have been built in that neighbourhood giving it some plus point than the previous two dramas. But still, I found some lack of things I cannot really explain in this drama. If I compare to the previous series (1997 and 1994), I still prefer the ending of those two than this one because it feels like the story haven't finish yet though it says that's already the ending. Also, I can't really feel the chemistry between the male lead character (Junghwan) and the female lead character (Dukseon). I saw no effort there due to his too much consideration approaching the female lead. However, I love him anyway and I think I'll support him more if only he show more of his effort for fighting to get Duk Seon's love. But to think of it, I think I'll always support the 2nd male lead character (Taek), for always being real about his feelings. I think Taek and Dukseon match each other more because both of them will take care of each other in the end, though it seems like Dukseon will take care of Taek the most. But Taek and Dukseon will make it into a really warm couple looking from how their previous relationship goes. And yes, mentioning the characters, I got a really terrible crush on Choi Taek (Played by Park Bogum). Hehe.

L I S T E N I N G

I love Justin Bieber ever since he came out with single One Time seven years ago. His songs are always be my lifetime favourite. After a long break from musical industry, Justin is back with his fifth album, "Purpose", which three of the songs became a hit and entered the top 10 tracks in Billboard. I'd like to say that the entire album is sooooo damn good to me. All the songs are so catchy and you've to admit he's a genius in music. Even from what I heard, his haters turns to be his fans because of this album. Bless 'em. My favourite tracks in this album are "Sorry" and "Love Yourself". There are freakinly awesome and it always stuck in my head.
Another awesome album that currently being my favorite is came from the new duo-band, Oh Wonder. Their songs are catchy and makes me somehow feel dazzling yet feeling calm, I don't know how to express it anyway. It's a great companion when you feel like doing nothing alone or looking for some inspiration or reading some great books while drinking your coffee or tea. My favourite tracks are "Without You", "Drive", and "Livewire". Highly recommended.

How 2015 Gone

Today is the last page of this year and I decided to write down some of things.

Yap, the new year thingy is right on the eye. It's only some hours left till 2016 and I feel a lil bit uneasy because I'm going 20 next year. I just cant accept that thing. Ok.
To think about how's my life gone so far in 2015, I'll say it was pretty much sucks, but also great. Why sucks? I've spent so many times crying, crawling, and hating ever since 2015 started. But i've got to say I'm proud of myself for making it pass all of those stupid trantition effects. Yah though it took about some months until I finally accepted the reality. And more of all, I just realized how stupid and exaggerated I was over that thing. Such a big shame. But yes what past is past and better to be left behind.

Entering my 2nd semester was really hard back then. It was just like the time when every drama of my life gathered in one big package to push me down over the hills. So hard till I locked up myself in the room and cried almost every night. Ok I know this sounds too much but its true. And I know I'm so stupid back then. Just don't judge me ok. But I'm also glad I did cried a lot back then. It just made myself feel better and I became up more stronger. At the end, I can managed all those bad things and stand up untill today. 365 days and I'm survived. I should be thankful for all of people who help me and stay even when I was at my lowest.

Anw, during my "survival" time, I did a lot of things to cheer myself up. I joined to some organization at college, spend more time to do my hobby or even try a new one, hung out with friends and even made some new, and lot of things. I think I would just do literally everything back then to keep my mind busy enough for not to think the reason of my unhappiness.

After some months passed away, I'm getting more used with all of bad things. As I entered the 3rd semester, I keep myself getting busier than ever. Though I know I still lack of everything, I tried my very best.

And yez, now here I am at the edge of 2015, getting ready for an upcoming good or bad things (as I wish no more bad things pls bcs I'm tired lol).

Honestly, I just simply wanna share my english class assignments here. Yes, as you can see from the title, it's an essay about how important softskill can be in our life, esp daily and job life. So here is it. Pardon my grammar or other mistakes. Enjoy! :)

Why Do We Need to Learn Soft skill?

What is one of the most important skill a person should have in order to success in their job life? The answer is soft skill. Nowadays, to be success in job life, you will not only need a hard skill, like a proficiency in foreign language, a degree or certificate, typing speed, the ability to operate computer, etc., but also soft skill, which is related to Emotional Intelligence Quotient (EQ), like emotional control, the ability to interact and cooperate with others, also time management. Soft skill can show your personal quality. Moreover, soft skill will enhance the hard skill that you have.

None can deny that in job life, hard skill is very important. However, hard skill without soft skill will be nothing. Let’s talk a job that can show you how important soft skill is. Just imagine, there are many banks in Indonesia. Some of them sell the same product which has equal qualities. One day, one staff of bank A, B, C, and D should do presentation for a foreign company in order for winning payroll tender. Bank A, Bank B, Bank C, and Bank D are well-known bank in Indonesia. They have good products and good services. They also have received many achievement. So, which bank the company will choose then? Considering the quality of those bank, it will be hard for the company to choose. In this situation, soft skill is needed. As mention above, soft skill is related to Emotional Intelligence Quotient. It is like how you can interact others and attract them. You should show the selling point uniquely, so the people around you will be affected in everything you say. You can persuade them nicely to choose your bank’s product. Usually, people tend to choose your product if you can attract them by doing something different, also if you have a great manner while offering that.

Moreover, soft skill is not only needed when you have to face your clients or customers. It also needed when you are around your colleagues, company mates, and of course your boss. The better your behavior and attitudes toward them, the better relationship you will get with them. Also, you will have more chance to be promoted when you have good relationship in everyone at your office. By having soft skill, you have a good value, both in job life and your daily life. That is why we need to learn soft skill.

Too bad, soft skill is not something we can get in one day. It takes times and needs a lot of practices to build ourselves into a person who has a great soft skill. However, the good news is we can also learn and improve our soft skill, like we learn the hard skill. First thing we should do is trying to develop our communication skills. We can start to do it by simply being aware of the condition of people who talking to us. We should notice if our interlocutor is sad, happy, or etc. If he/she is happy, we should support; if she/he is sad, we should try to give empathy. Then, do not forget to make an eye-contact, and use an appropriate body language. The second is practicing active listening skills. This is so important because listening requires focus and self-discipline. Some people fail in their job because they do not want to listen, whether that is listening to the instruction or suggestion. The ability of listening is also needed to show that we have the empathy. The third, we have to build relationship with our peers, boss, clients, and business partners by simply greet them when they get to work, learn to manage conflict in healthy way, and build network with people inside and outside your organization. Fourth, practice leading and influencing other people by observe your own supervisor and note how that person leads your team, practice leading in small group discussions, and set your positive attitude in difficult situation as example for the others. Last, take your initiative. Demonstrating responsibility and enthusiasm for your job by starts finishing work without constant reminders from your supervisor.

It is clear enough that soft skill is needed in job life. For many cases in job life, most of them happened because of the lack of soft skill. To prevent that, we must learn and improve our soft skill by simply doing small good things. Your job life depends on it.
